This position requires local, in-state travel approximately 50% of the time.   PRINCIPLE DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Act as the first point of contact for new hires to support the onboarding process - Ensure all new hires are compliant with regulations including Vaccinations and screening requirement - Provide ongoing education on site and in the classroom to ensure compliance and competence in COVID-19 prevention and care, overall regulatory compliance, update to skills, and ongoing refresher of core skills - Assist in creation of training programs for employees working in this organization that align with company goals. - Assist in development of creative and interesting techniques to teach the information, helping employees to gain a solid understanding of the material. - Assist in the evaluation and controlling the quality of in-service educational programs in accordance with established policies and procedures. - Assume the authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the in-service educational programs with the Director of Quality. - Conduct annual mandatory competencies and additional training sessions for the staff to ensure that they remain current on new procedures, changes in policies, and meet regulatory requirements from DPH. - Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, in service education attendance, written content of educational programs provided as well as maintaining employee educational files. - Assist Director of Quality in maintaining a calendar of educational programs and makes it available to staff. - Assist in tracking employee TB testing, N95 fit testing, and vaccines, and coordinates yearly flu clinic.

POSITION SUMMARY:   The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing the work of the maintenance and security personnel to ensure that the physical condition of the Health Center is maintained according to The Overlook/MHS operating and safety standards.    PRINCIPLE DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   - Supervise the maintenance and security operations, ensuring the safety, maintenance and repair of all buildings and systems - Monitor building alarm systems and respond to all emergencies, security alerts, fires and disasters - Ensure maintenance and testing of all electrical systems, fire panels, emergency response systems and disaster preparedness - Schedule and ensure preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and life safety programs using facility work order system - Maintain good security practices including but not limited to facility patrols, key control access and video monitoring - Establish daily work schedules for maintenance and security, including emergency maintenance on-call schedules; coordinating with nursing when working in resident nursing, living and/or recreational areas - Ensure that safety procedures meet required standards including the use or wearing safety equipment (e.g. back brace, mechanical lifts, carry-carts, etc.) when lifting or moving heavy objects - Maintain inventory of equipment, tools and supplies - Responsible for accurate data entry in work order system. - Ensures that containers of hazardous chemicals in the maintenance department are properly labelled and stored, and assisting with maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS) throughout the facility - Report violations of any safety or OSHA regulations - Make recommendations for contract services and supervise work completed by vendors. - May receive after-hours calls for maintenance/security emergencies - Responsible for periodic reporting of key metrics from the work order system. - Assist in the orientation and training of new Team Members - Assists in snow removal when required - Maintain up to date and accurate required regulatory documentation - Complete all annual performance evaluations for direct reports This position pays between $29-$33 per hour, based on experience M-F 7am-3:30pm
