 The Senior Human Resource Business Partner will:

  •  Provide consultative support, tools, and services that enable the successful execution of department/functional priorities are achieved.
  • Assists leaders in building a high-performing organization while providing advice to influence the organizational effectiveness of specific client groups. Ensures continuity of services to leaders and employees through understanding the business strategy and developing relevant solutions to meet business needs.
  • Creates the culture that enables the business to be successful. Designs and drives an employee engagement strategy to enable MHS to be the employer of choice.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships of trust that fosters communication and collaboration. Collaborates with key stakeholders to create development plans and pathways to support growth for individuals and the business.
  • Design, write and roll-out employee policy and procedures.
  • Design, deliver and coordinate staff development.
  • Conduct and manage investigations of complaints and concerns, assess root causes and recommend appropriate next steps including corrective action as needed

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree with 7-10 years’ HR Business Partner experience, ideally supporting a healthcare or service organization with both exempt and large numbers of non-exempt employees. Healthcare / Long-Term Care preferred.
  • SHRM-CP/SRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Experience with benefits compliance including 401(k) and pension plans
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast paced environment, with a track record of accomplishment with measurable business impact
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with all levels of the organizations; strong influencer and follow through skills.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with continuous improvement practices establishing standards for guiding and optimizing results.
  • Sense of humor – it’s a must on this team
